The Case XX Gator Jigged Old Red Bone Baby Butterbean carries the kind of craftsmanship and tradition that knife collectors and users alike look for. Part of a series that highlights timeless materials and meticulous attention to detail, this small but capable knife is designed to deliver everyday utility in a compact package.
Its mirror-polished Tru-Sharp surgical steel blades ensure durability and long-lasting sharpness, with both a spear point and pen blade that cover everything from precise trimming to light-duty cutting tasks. At just 2.75 inches closed and weighing only 1.4 ounces, this Baby Butterbean slips easily into a pocket, making it a reliable companion for daily carry without unnecessary bulk.
The handle sets this knife apart, crafted from Gator Jigged Old Red Bone—a material that brings both visual warmth and a rugged feel in hand. The rich red tones of the bone are accentuated by the jigging pattern, which gives it a texture that recalls traditional working knives of the past. Brass pins and liners provide strength, while nickel silver bolsters add refinement and stability. An inlaid nickel silver shield proudly marks it as a Case knife, a symbol of American cutlery heritage.
