The Case Crossroads Series XR Barlow brings a fresh perspective to one of Case's most enduring traditional patterns, comBbining time-honored design with premium modern materials. Built for those who appreciate classic pocketknife heritage but expect contemporary performance, this compact folder delivers everyday functionality wrapped in unmistakable Barlow styling.
Retaining the iconic long-bolster profile that has defined the Barlow pattern for generations, the XR Barlow updates the design with a screwed-together construction that enhances durability and precision. This modern approach creates a stronger, more serviceable knife while preserving the familiar character that has made the Barlow a favorite among knife enthusiasts for well over a century.
The 2.5" clip point blade is crafted from premium CPM S35VN stainless steel, providing exceptional edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness. This high-performance steel is well suited for everyday cutting tasks, offering reliable performance and long-lasting sharpness. The clip point profile delivers excellent control and versatility, making it equally capable of detailed work and general utility cutting.
The handles are crafted from Buckskin DymaLux Wood, giving the knife a warm, natural appearance while benefiting from the enhanced stability and durability of the DymaLux process. The rich buckskin coloration complements the traditional design beautifully, creating a refined look that stands apart from synthetic-handled modern folders. Stainless steel hardware adds strength and a clean, contemporary touch while maintaining the knife's premium fit and finish. Measuring just 3.3" closed, the XR Barlow slips easily into a pocket while remaining substantial enough for everyday use.
Proudly made in Bradford, Pennsylvania, the Crossroads Series represents Case's commitment to honoring its heritage while embracing modern materials and manufacturing techniques. It's a knife that respects tradition without being bound by it.
